Last updated: May 2, 2026. These terms govern how students, parents, and tutors use the Tutors2Go platform.
Tutors2Go operates an online marketplace connecting students and parents with independent tutors. Tutors remain responsible for the quality and delivery of their own lessons.
Users must provide accurate information. Parents may register on behalf of children. Tutors must be reviewed and approved before being shown publicly on the platform.
Tutors set their own rate, and that rate is the total the student pays — Tutors2Go adds nothing at checkout. Tutors2Go retains a commission of 15% of the session rate, deducted from the tutor's payment. Founding tutors pay 5% for their first six months.
Booking requests remain subject to tutor confirmation unless Tutors2Go clearly states otherwise. Users should use platform messaging professionally and respectfully.
Please also read the dedicated Cancellation Policy. In summary, at least 24 hours’ notice is expected for changes wherever possible.
All users must behave safely, respectfully, and lawfully. Any safeguarding concern must be reported immediately. Tutors2Go may suspend accounts where there is risk or misconduct.
Tutors2Go does not guarantee particular academic outcomes and is not liable for the conduct of independent tutors beyond the operation of the platform itself, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
